Filed: 10/5/22 Issued: 9/12/23 A method of forming an absorbent article comprising: moving a stream of connected absorbent assemblies in a machine direction having a central longitudinal axis between longitudinal side edges of the connected absorbent assemblies which extend in the machine direction, the absorbent assemblies comprising: a bodyside liner, an outer cover, and an absorbent body disposed between the bodyside liner and the outer cover, the absorbent body having a length in the machine direction that is greater than a width in a cross-machine direction; moving a first elasticized laminate in the machine direction, the first elasticized laminate comprising: a first laminate material comprising a laminate material top layer and a laminate material bottom layer, and an elastomeric member disposed between the laminate material top layer and the laminate material bottom layer; moving a second elasticized laminate in the machine direction, the second elasticized laminate comprising: a second laminate material comprising a laminate material top layer and a laminate material bottom layer, and an elastomeric member disposed between the laminate material top layer and the laminate material bottom layer; oscillating, with a laminate oscillating device, the first of elasticized laminate in the cross-machine direction to impart a curvature to the first elasticized laminate, the oscillation occurring within a single plane; oscillating, with the laminate oscillating device, the second elasticized laminate in the cross-machine direction to impart a curvature to each of the first and second side edges of the second elasticized laminate, the oscillation occurring within the single plane; and bonding each of the first elasticized laminate and the second elasticized laminate to the stream of connected absorbent assemblies to a same portion of the stream of connected absorbent assemblies located on a same side of the central longitudinal axis while maintaining the imparted first curvature of the first elasticized laminate and the imparted second curvature of the second elasticized laminate.
